Roman Reigns walked into WWE Raw thinking the Tribal Combat contract signing would remind everybody why he’s still the Tribal Chief, but Jacob Fatu completely flipped the situation before Clash in Italy. Instead of losing control like Roman expected, Fatu stayed calculated the entire segment and forced Roman to play defense mentally. Roman kept trying to talk down to him like he was still beneath him in The Bloodline, but Jacob made it clear this isn’t about respect anymore — it’s about taking everything Roman built.

What made the segment work is that Jacob Fatu didn’t just intimidate Roman physically, he outsmarted him. Roman spent most of the confrontation emotional and frustrated while Jacob looked calm, confident, and fully prepared for Tribal Combat. WWE has slowly turned Fatu into the most dangerous threat Roman has faced in years because he understands Roman better than almost anybody. Every week, Jacob keeps baiting Roman into reacting emotionally instead of strategically, and that’s making the Tribal Chief look vulnerable for the first time in a long time.

Raw also loaded up the final build for Clash in Italy with LA Knight making his return and announcing himself for the King of the Ring tournament, Oba Femi threatening Paul Heyman and promising to destroy Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins defeating Montez Ford in a hard-hitting match, and Penta retaining the Intercontinental Championship against Je’Von Evans. WWE also confirmed Logan Paul suffered a torn triceps injury that could keep him out for months, while Austin Theory brutally attacked Joe Hendry to continue the chaos surrounding The Vision storyline.

This episode honestly felt less like a normal go-home Raw and more like WWE setting the stage for a massive shift heading into the summer. Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu doesn’t feel like a typical Bloodline match anymore — it feels like the moment Roman finally realizes somebody from his own family may actually be smarter, more dangerous, and ready to replace him.

This is your one take, one shot Monday night raw review where you get it immediately following the episode, so you get my gut reaction. Hit go to sleep and say, you know what, baby, that wasn't as bad as I thought it was. No, I'm gonna tell you how bad it was or how good it was right this second after I think every every sicko for watching my AEW double or nothing review. I actually left out the John Moxley match and I kick could kick myself for that. And but you know what? I appreciate you watching and the support that I've get that I've gotten from the AEW fan base. I said I would do more content if you supported that video and you did. So I will look forward to that, please. But we're talking Monday Night Raw first, and we're talking this title also. Roman Reigns is defending this title at Clash in Italy against Jacob Fatu, and they had a contract signing today. They signed the contract for tribal combat. Now, I don't really know what tribal combat is. Sometimes it's no DQ, sometimes it is DQ. I don't know. It doesn't sound like there will be this time because Jacob Fatu said, Yeah, you know, you did what you had to do at at uh backlash, but right now at tribal combat, I can do whatever I want. And you know what I thought was funny also, Jacob Fatu literally called out the I don't know, I wouldn't necessarily say this is a plot hole, but maybe the maybe the fault in tribal combat from Roman Reigns perspective. Jacob literally went to Roman because Roman had said, you know what, Jacob, when I beat you, you're gonna have to acknowledge me and you're and then I'm gonna basically own you and you're gonna come to love me. And then Jacob Fontoo was like, all right, because you know what? Guess what? If I lose, I still have a job, but if I win, I get everything. So I wish they would have played on this this this subject of Jacob has nothing to lose. Jacob has nothing to lose, and Roman, while yes, he can gain Jacob Fatu as his right hand man now. He still doesn't really like he has way more to lose than he does to gain. And I think Jacob should have really played that up. But for a segment, it was decent. We actually got them having an interview off one another because I guess in tribal combat, you're not allowed to touch the other person the moment the contract is signed. So they were able to actually not Roman didn't have to worry about three tonguing death grips, you know. So it was good. You know, they ended with just like, you know, they went forehead to forehead. It was very like it, it did set the tone of a very like, you know, you know, traditional family warfare, tribal warfare type of thing. So I didn't mind a very low-key, a low-key go home show for their matchup. Maybe it should have happened at the beginning of the show as opposed to the end of the show, but whatever the case may be, I'm looking forward to it. I am interested to see where how Jacob falls, like where's Jacob gonna be after this? There's no way he becomes the tribal chief. Could you imagine insane Jacob Fatou is the tribal chief? That'd be kind of funny. I love Jacob. Even this segment, when it first started, it was supposed to be a contract signing, and he's just chucking out chairs and tables outside the ring. Loved it. Cody Rhodes sets up the tables and Jacob Fatou breaks down the tables. And so, like, tribal chief Jacob would be anarchy, but we're not gonna get that. Roman will win it. Has to win it, has to win it. But it would like, I just wonder how Jacob is gonna be as the right hand man. He did, he was a great right hand man for solo sequa, but I just don't think he ever wants that life again. So we'll find out on Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. We will find out in Italy. By the way, it's at like 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, so make sure you mark your calendars or your clocks or your whatever for that. And then, but yes, it's for this title. And if you want to win this title, you can. All you gotta do is comment below. You see, I hold a contest at 30,000 subscribers. I'm gonna give away this belt. To win it, you you comment, you subscribe, and you can win. It's not a toy, it's a replica, and you can't win it. The last one was the 20,000 giveaway, and that's gonna reach Roman Reigns Acknowledge Me. That's his that's his YouTube name on Thursday, hopefully. Okay, what else happened tonight? We did open the show with with Brock Brock Lesnar. He did a pre-package where he basically said, you know what? You you got me. You got me, Oba Femi. You you you shook me to my core. I got beat up, and I'm okay with getting beat up. But you shook me to my core so hard that I retired. But then that didn't sit right with me. And so now I'm coming out of you. This old retired man is gonna beat your butt. And and Paul Heyman's all looking all smug and like oba, you don't know what you just did. But then Oba comes out, and then Paul Heyman's like, oh, oba, oba, I'm just I'm just a lonely advocate. And then Oba. See, this is why I listen, I this is why I didn't like the open challenge. Because here, now that oba's in a storyline, and I still feel that Brock should have stayed retired, but I'm making the best of it. Here, now that Oba's in a storyline, I'm able to see Oba's personality. He goes to Paul Heyman. He's like, Before I just wanted to beat him, now I just want to end him. We gotta hear him talk. I would much rather hear Oba have this kind of talk with Paul Heyman than him squashing Tazawa or something like that, you know? And he he tells he tells Paul, I'm not gonna hurt you. I need you to tell the tale of me destroying, me destroying Brock and stuff like that. So Oba looked really good. Oba looked really good in this in this segment, and so did Paul and so did Brock Lesnar. Both people looked really strong, not afraid of the other person. Paul Heyman looked really afraid, but he's a sniveling coward and he should look afraid. However, I will say, and this might be nitpicking, but this once this demonstrated more so Braun Breaker, like he's just so not a big deal. Paul Heyman is Braun Breaker's manager. Why wouldn't Braun Breaker come out to help come out to help Oba come out to help Paul Heyman when Oba Femi is bullying him? Oba Femi is pretty much intimidating the crap out of him, backed him in a corner, signed a contract on him. Where's Bra where's Braun Breaker? I get it that Brock Lesnar wasn't in the building, but where's Braun Breaker? And you might say, Well, Braun wasn't in the building. Why isn't Braun in the building? Braun Breaker got owned at Saturday night's main event by the Street Profits. Yes, he did. He did stand tall, you know, after he speared them. So why isn't he here celebrating then? Why was Braun Breaker not in the building? Logan Paul, and we'll talk about this in a minute, he's injured. And Paul Heyman knows that Braun Breaker is about to become the next champion because of the contract that he signed. So why isn't Braun here? It just like just the further disintegration to me of Braun Breaker and just the the like if this if Braun Breaker was a ball and I'm triple H, whoop, I just dropped the Braun Breaker ball. Like I had I loved Braun Breaker, I loved that guy so much. I was just like, I just want to hear him do Steiner math all the time. He was just so good, so intense, so ready to be champion. And then, like, the moment he joined the vision last year, complete dropping of the ball. And it continues to this day. It's so subtle now that people don't even pick up on it. Braun Breaker should have been here to either A, defend Paul Heyman, or B just to be part of the vision. Like, Austin Theory is now the muscle of the vision. When you have Braun Breaker, give me a break. Give me a break. But anyway, so so that said, Logan Paul is injured. He got injured at Saturday's main event. Love him or hate him. We shouldn't wish injury upon anyone. But I mean, like, holy cow, the vision. The vision is such a cursed, a cursed faction. Seth Rollins fakes an injury. Never fake an injury again, people, because that that faked injury brought upon the the curse from the wrestling gods. The wrestling gods said, Oh, you want to fake an injury? Because then Seth Rollins, he gets his like sh shoulder injury, has to get surgery. Braun Breaker, maybe he's going to main event WrestleMania, hernia, surgery, Bronson Reed. Let's get him in the elimination chamber. He hurts himself. Injury, injury, injury. And now, and now Logan Paul, who was replacing Seth Rollins for war games because Seth got injured. Injured? Four members. Four members. The first four members of the vision have been injured. Out sidelined. There have only been five active wrestlers in the vision. Alright. Paul Heyman's gonna blow out his quads when he steps in the ring next. Be careful, be careful. Austin Theory will is showing, though, some prominence. He's actually showing some character. This has actually helped Austin Theory to get a little bit of a spotlight and to show some teeth. He attacks, he attacks Joe Hendry because he feels that that song, the let's fire Logan Paul or whatever it is, that he feels that that got into Logan Paul's head. So he attacks Joe Hendry and then later he'll attack Angelo Dawkins. And he will look. I'll say Austin Theory has looked the best he has in years tonight. Tonight. So like at least there's that. There's a silver lining, I guess. But again, I wouldn't wish injury upon anyone. And right after the opening segment of Oba though, and and br and Brock and Paul Heyman, we had a really good match between Penta and Javon Evans. Although there was a really, really scary spot where Javon Evans went for like a suicide dive. I think Penta was supposed to like kind of like throw him over onto the table, but he basically hit the side, the corner of the table. I was like, my back. I'm not gonna be able to walk tomorrow. I'm gonna wake up hurt from watching, watching what happened to Javon Evans. Please, please, please be careful, people. And but then then we went and had a really good match. Javon will lose, and Penta goes to shake his hand, and Javon's like, no, don't no, forget it, forget it. And he walks away. Penta will later Javon will later apologize to Penta and say, I was just mad. That was very unprofessional. I apologize. And Penta was like, don't worry, man, I understand. And even Ray was like, Ray was like, Ray was like, oh, remember, remember when we were at that age? So yeah, kind of interesting that Penta has now beaten Javon, Rusev, and Ethan Page, and we didn't get a uh a fatal four-way out of that matchup. And but it looks like Ray Mysterio, the new GM of AAA, is now in line for a title shot after he beat Rusev. Okay, so there is absolutely no shame in losing to Rey Mysterio. But I will say the fact that Rusev has not won a match in a quite a while, it's like it's a shame that he had to lose, but no shame in who he lost to, if that makes sense. But it's like, oh, what I didn't like though is that after Rusev lost, he starts beating up Ray, right? And it's like, okay, well, maybe he can get his heat back at least. But then, no, then Dragon Lee came out and owned Rusev. Ethan Page was there too. And I'm loving Ethan Page and Rusev together. Ethan Page is like, he even said one time on commentary, oh yeah, we're like family. I love this guy. And it was like, it's just so hilarious that Ethan Page is trying to get Rusev to be on his side, loving this, loving that pairing. But at the end of the day, they should have at least let Rusev and Ethan Page beat up Rey Mysterio. But no, at one point, Corey Graves literally says they're humiliating Rusev, and kind of they are. Again, no shade in losing to Rey Mysterio, but at least let them beat him up afterwards. You get what I'm saying? So Rusev, oh, I feel sorry for that guy. He's he's kind of in the Alistair Black, Alistair Black, Malachi Black situation. If he if he gets cut from WWE, he doesn't really have anywhere to go in in regards to the big leagues, unless he goes to TNA, which is an option. But yeah, so I didn't like how they handled. I did not like how they handled Rusev today. What else did we have? Bailey and Lyra beat the judgment day. So, you know, I love Liv Morgan. I really do. I think she is great, but they're doing the exact same thing they did to EOSky last year, in that Liv Morgan wins the championship, and she has not defended it at all. It's at least it's about a month now. It's about a month now, and we're not doing any, but it doesn't even look like it doesn't even look like there's a challenger on the horizon. Is it because Stephanie Vakir got injured? Like, why can't we just write another story? Why can't we just write something else? Like, I don't get it. Why do we have to completely stop Liv Morgan from all in-ring activity because the person she was supposed to feud with is no longer able to be to feud? We don't have to wait to Stephanie comes back. We can have Liv Morgan feud with somebody, win that feud, and then go into the Stephanie Fakir thing. I do not like the fact that we have these champions, they they win these big things, and then we kill the momentum. We have killed Liv Morgan's momentum, in my opinion. And then we go to but but Bailey and Lyra will beat, they will beat the judgment day. And so the judgment day just continued to like what what I don't even know what the point of the judgment day is, to tell you the truth anymore. LA Knight, yeah, comes out and he's talking about how he is not happy with the Usos, kind of reforming the bloodline. And Jimmy comes out and he's like, Dog, you need to just stop talking. This is family business with Jacob. And and LA Knight, though, is the only guy who seems to have a memory, and he's like, No, you guys did this. We were attacking the vision because they're doing the same exact stuff you're doing. So it looks like we're headed down a path of LA Knight versus either Jimmy and or Jay Uso, which is fine, and it's it's crazy because uh LA Knight said when he got to the ring, he you know, you could tell that he felt the crowd. He's like, Man, I haven't been in the ring in a long time. Just like Liv Morgan, she won it WrestleMania. L LA Knight won it WrestleMania. This is the first time he's been in the ring since then. Like, oh my gosh. Like, what is that about? What like if you're on the WrestleMania card, you think you'd be able to get booked for a Monday night raw at you know, immediately following, but no, guess not, guess not. Seth Rollins and Montez Ford. Okay, I like this match. It felt different, it felt unique, even though they have wrestled before one-on-one, it's it's been a minute. So Seth Rollins is continuously like this. They're at the weakest they've ever been. No, they aren't. They were at the weakest they've ever been when it was just Logan Paul and Austin Theory. But that aside, like there's only two members of the vision. Why does why does Seth need the entire Street Profits even? It's like I get they're trying to salvage the story, but just cut your losses. The vision story is done. It's making Seth kind of look super weak that he's trying to get all this help. Like, just start something with the vision or with the street profits, have that feud go on because you know, Seth is like, Angelo, we need to team up. And then Montez is like, no, we don't, no, we don't. This is not the Seth redemption tour. And then Seth's like, You got a problem? So they meet in the ring, they have a really good matchup. I really enjoyed it. Seth does win. I understand why Seth won. I would have rather Montez won, but I understand why Seth won. He's a main event guy, he probably should have won. I'm just letting my emotions get in the way. But once the match is over, both men are tired, and then Austin Theory comes out and he's beating Angelo Dawkins. And because those two were so tired, they weren't able to help Angelo Dawkins. And then later we see Angelo Dawkins in the infirmary, and so that's when Montez is like, all right, you're right. RB kind of got my partner hurt. So let's do this. Let's do this. So now Seth has some allies, but it's like he doesn't even need allies. The the vision, the vision is like they're they're barely a thing. They're barely a thing. Becky also cut a really good promo today about Sol Ruka. Sol Ruca might be injured too, which really sucks. I hope she's okay. They're still advertising the match at Clash in Italy. So hopefully it was just like, I don't know, a very small, small, very teeny, teeny injury. And they also paid off Maxine Dupree. Austin Thury walked by Alpha Academy and Maxine, and and they were like, you know, Maxine told the Alpha Academy to just calm down. He's just he's just really stressed out. So it looks like we're actually gonna bring Maxine Dupree into the vision. Careful, Maxine. Don't don't don't trip. You might break a leg. But yeah, so that was raw. That was basically we end with the tribal chiefs segment. I just talked about it in the beginning. It it didn't feel like urgent, but at the same time, it would it did have a good pace to it. The the the judgment day Lyra Bailey match, I could have done without, to tell you the truth. But for the most part, maybe if you you cut that in half and then give it another match to somebody, but Penta and Javon, Montez Ford, and Montez Ford and and Seth, and even Rusev and Ray was pretty good. So I I enjoyed tonight's draw. I'm gonna give it a seven. Seven seven point eight one, two, three, four, five, six, seven chops on the chop all meter. Uh point eight, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. All right, so there you go. If you want to check out another review and hot taste, go check out my AEW content, see if you like it. Right now, see, guys and gals, like it's easy to complain about WWE, but we do have we do have an alternative, and I'm not saying that this is an AEW channel now, but I am saying that maybe we should check out the alternative and see because that's how that's how 1995 WWE changed into the Golden Attitude era, because people left to go check out WCW because the WWE product had gone so bad. So maybe it's time to time to show the TKO that we mean business again and just check out what TK what Tony Khan is doing over there on the other channel. So there is a video up there about the the the the the review I did. Go check it out. See ya. Bye.
