WWE Monday Night Raw was supposed to SELL WrestleMania… instead it felt like it hit the brakes.

This go-home show had moments. Oba Femi looked like a monster. Liv Morgan delivered. Gunther brought intensity. But none of it felt like it mattered when the show needed to land the plane.

The biggest problem? The ending.

Roman Reigns and CM Punk started HOT… real tension, real energy, even callbacks to Pat McAfee’s comments. It felt like something big was coming. And then… nothing.

CM Punk admits he hates Roman… but he’s jealous of him.
Roman says the same thing back.
They stare.
That’s it.

No chaos. No escalation. No reason to care more than we already did.

On the final Raw before WrestleMania, THIS is what we got?

And now there’s real concern… especially with Paul Heyman dropping “it’s not a prediction, it’s a spoiler.” If Oba Femi loses to Brock Lesnar after that kind of hype, what are we even doing?

This episode had the pieces… but completely failed to bring it all together when it mattered most.

For a Monday night go home show to WrestleMania, a WrestleMania that's not sold out even. This Raw, it was lame. It ended like, pardon my French, a wet fart. I'm not even joking. It started off hot and amazing with Roman Reigns doing a pre-taped video package of the hypocrisy of CM Punk. And he even was like, you know, I like uh Pat McAfee and all, but I never had a punter own me like that. And it's like, oh my gosh, I thought this was gonna be an epic showdown. An epic showdown. Couldn't wait to hear CM Punk's reply, even. And no, we got none of that. We'll talk about it in a second, but first I gotta thank each and every one of you boys and gals out there. I hit 20,000 subscribers! Yes, yes, breakout times. Come on! Yes, we hit 20,000 subscribers. Can you believe it? I'm actually right at 20,000, so I really hope nobody unsubscribes because, well, maybe not, I mean, maybe they should, because I don't hit 20,000 twice. But no, yeah, I did it. We did it. Let's talk Monday Night Raw, because this is your one take, one shot Monday Night Raw review where I do it immediately following Raw. That way you get my raw, putt-intended, gut reaction. And what is my reaction? I already told you this uh the ending sucked. It sucked. We have Roman Reigns doing a political ad, even making fun of Paul, uh not Paul, CM Punk saying, I'm Roman Reigns and I approve this message. And he he showed Pat McAfee calling him such a hypocrite. He hearkened back to his day. Honestly, honestly, I'm wondering if WWE is watching my Easter egg videos because it kind of kind of reminded me of one of those. And you know what? Hey, Triple H, you can hire me if you want. I'll sell out like CM Punk. And then, but anyways, anyways, sorry about that. Just yeah, Triple H, you can do no wrong. I really hope you give an hour and a half speech at at the Hall of Fame ceremony inducting your wife. Totally deserving to be over AJ Styles. Hired me, Triple H. Um, but no, for real, we have Roman just laid into CM Punk and his hypocrisy. So that was how we opened. But then we end, and CM Punk he comes out, man of the people. He's walking out, but he's walking out really slow. And then he gets to the ring, and Roman's like, don't get in the ring. We won't need these microphones. CM Punk stays outside. And he's like, you know, Roman, after some some some thought and consideration, I hate you. I hate that I'm jealous of you. And he goes, he runs it down. I hate that you were born into a dynasty. I hate this, I hate that. But he's not saying it in a way that is disrespectful. He's like, I hate that I made fun of your dad. I hate this, I hate that. And I'm okay with him apologizing about the remark to his dad. He should, he should. You know, you do wrong, you you you own it. But he just like it was respect, respect, respect. And he and then, and I just kept waiting. I kept waiting for the butt. The the butt, you sucked. But I'm gonna murder you, but, and then he's jumped by everybody. But then Roman says, you know what? I hate you too. I hate your your connection with this crowd. I hope when I'm gone, I have that connection. And I'm like, what are we doing here? Like, what's going on here? Is this is this the Monday Night Rob before WrestleMania 42, or is this the Monday night rob before WrestleMania 31 when when Roman and and Brock or Brock Lesnar are just doing a tug of war on the belt? I think it was before 31. Don't quote me on that. But it's like, this is lame. We had some of the most amazing promos leading up to this just for this to suck. Just for this to suck. You are not sold out. WrestleMania is not sold out. You do not sell it to me. You do not make me want to buy an airplane ticket to Las Vegas and and throw some money down to go to night two when when it's uh when we're just like, I respect you, and I'm jealous of you. Like the big twist was, and at the end, I'm gonna hold I have gold on my shoes, gold around my waist, and at the end of WrestleMania, I'll have gold above my head. And then Roman, you know, I respect you, or not. He doesn't actually say I respect you, he says I'm jealous of you because of all these things that I do respect. And then he's like, but you're wrong. He's gonna say, not and still, you're gonna say and new. And that was it. That was it. CM Punk didn't even respond to the allegations that that Pat McAfee McAfee said on SmackDown. And you could be like, well, that's on SmackDown, and I'm glad. That's fine. I get it. Maybe CM Punk wants to solely focus, lock in on his main event night too. But the problem is Roman brought it up early in the night. All CM Punk said was that was a smear campaign. Like Roman brought it up tonight too. So CM Punk had to, had to respond, but he didn't. So that said, it is now canon that one of the greatest speakers in all of WWE history, the the pipe bomb, two pipe bombs, he lost a verbal confrontation to a punter. As Roman said, a punter. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. The the the McAfee fallout is has now made has is so strong that it has now made punk look weak, which in essence makes the whole main event look weak. Ah, this CM Punk had nothing to say. And you know what? He probably didn't have anything to say because, well, looks like it was all true. I lost a lot. I lost a lot of like I'm a CM Punk guy, but I I did lose a lot. So if you're a CM Punk fan, I need you to justify him not bringing it up in the comments below because I need to know why I should be like, still be like ride or die with CM Punk because like he he didn't even bring anything up. I just this did not make me more interested in in WrestleMania. If I want to get interested now in the WrestleMania matchup between Roman and CM Punk, I'll go watch their first promo. I'll go watch Winnie Called Them Old. That was a bigger, that was a bigger moment than I I I hope I have the fans cheering me for 10 years. Jeez Louise. Alright, so Oba Femi did a good promo though. So Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar have the best program going on right now. When when Paul Heyman says this is the real main event, yeah, this is the real main event because that's the only thing right now that is like I mean it's not the only thing, but it's definitely the thing now that I'm just like, this has been an almost perfect build. But but I will say this something happened tonight that makes me fear that Brock is a shoe-in to win. And oh gosh, I need Oba Femi to win. And I don't know if he's gonna. I think I think we might pull a Brock Lesnar, John Cena, where we we open the show with the good guy losing because Paul Heyman said this is a per this is not a prediction, it's a spoiler. There will be a winner, there will be a loser, and Brock will be the winner. Therefore, the loser will be Oba. Femi, he said this is a spoiler. He's never got that wrong before. Jeez, I don't know. I don't know. And then and then Brock just came in and signed the contract, and he kind of left. He said something, can't remember what he said. It's almost interesting when Brock speaks. And then Oba came out. Oba cut like a really good promo. Really good promo. I do highly recommend watching that promo and not the Roman promo. But like, we'll watch the first one, but not the last one. But but Oba just, yeah, he was so good. At one point he's like, I am the bringer of war. Oh my gosh. I want I want Oba Femi backing me up in a bar fight because oh, could you just I want to see him go, I am the bringer of war. Oba Femi is the man, and him and him and Paul Heyman, you know, threw some barbs at each other, but yeah, very worried now. I was convinced that Brock was gonna get the better of him this week on Raw. Please, Triple H. Let Oba win. What else happened on Monday Night Raw? We got a six, the six man no, we got a two-on-two, Javon Evans and Dragon Lee versus Rusev and JD McDongan. Basically, I think, I think Dragon Lee won. He did the styles clash, but then Rusa basically just beat everybody up. He beat him up so bad that Ray came out and then he beat him up. And then Penta came out and beat him up. So uh Rusev beat everybody up. It's like, oh my god, this guy's so dominant. He can't lose, so he's gonna lose. So yeah. Uh Dominic Mysterio and Finn Balor got no advancement of their story other than we got a little like red smoke and an image of the demon who's now been announced. He's gonna appear. That was it for that. And and then what? I don't know. Am I out of focus right now? The TVs went off. If I'm out of focus, let's focus, focus, focus, focus. Sorry, I wish I could cut that, but I can't one take one shot. But and then and Dom was like, wait a second, I thought I was facing Finn Balor, not the demon. He said the demon was dead. That was their that was their storyline right there. It's like we didn't need as much. I'm I'm a big fan of EO Sky, Kyrie and Asuka, but we didn't need that match happening, that that as long as a match, if it sacrificed telling some more story between Finn and Dom. Like, I don't understand why we're not telling more of that story. Asuka will will get in Eo's face, causing her to fight Kyrie, and that will what happens? What happens? They they're like kind of beating up on on EO in the match, and so Rhea comes out to even the odds, and then and then Jade will actually come out and beat up Rhea, and that will allow Kyrie to actually get a victory over Eo Sky. So that's interesting. We also have iShow Speed. He got he got a training vignette with Logan Paul and and uh Austin Theory. I don't think they should have shown this because I think it would have been better if we would have seen iShow Speed actually in action for the first time doing these moves. Now we see him training. If we're walking into WrestleMania, the question is, how's he going to wrestle? But now we know he is wrestling. Uh just a small gripe. I don't think it's the end of the world, but it was good. It was good, it was it was produced well, and even at the end, i show speed was all about his team. But I just don't think we should have shown him and we should have just been surprised at WrestleMania. They're showing us just a little too much, like they shouldn't have shown us that the demon was coming back. Liv Morgan and and Stephanie Vakir. Stephanie Vakir's out there to give an interview, and Liv attacked her. She just attacked her, and Liv looked like a crazy woman. And we had a pull apart brawl here, which is weird because there's sometimes in the show we'd have a pull apart where there'd be a lot of officials, and sometimes the officials wouldn't come out at all. It was very convenient when they chose to. But Liv looked like a maniac. Like Liv did a better pull apart brawl than Randy Orton and Cody Roads from two weeks ago. Like for real. She looked crazy. And what's also crazy is she did a music video, and honestly, I loved it. I loved it. I'm so happy. I like, you know, it's like reminds me of like when Shawn Michaels did his own entrance music. You gotta be some kind of egomaniac to do your own entrance entrance music. And so I I love that for Liv Morgan. Stephanie Vakir, like I'm sorry, I know a lot of people love her, but I really hope that the belt goes on someone with personality and unhinged, like like uh Liv Morgan. And so, yeah, she just beat her up. She just beat her up. So Sokoa showed up. He showed up to talk to, I don't know why he was there with the MFTs, but he gets he picks a fight with LA Knight, yeah, Jay Uso and Jimmy Uso, because why not? Why not? And uh the the the biggest upset of the year, maybe decade, Tungaloa took an L. LA Knight pinned Tungaloa in this matchup, very unconsequential, with the exception of Tungaloa, like you know, LA Hogan, right? Am I right? Pinning pinning the goat for Tungaloa just shows that Tungaloa always willing to put over the younger generation. And but Tomatunga came out and just stared, and that Tamatunga coming out caused a distraction. It was just that was weird storytelling right there. So hopefully, hopefully Tomatunga just takes over the MFTs and solo can get back to the tribal chief Roman Reigns and and the bloodline in general. And I think that's it. Did I just go through everything? Seth Rollins and and Guther. So this was kind of I did kind of like this. So Guther comes out and Seth beats him up, right? He beats him up, and this is where I'm like, where's the poll? Where's the officials for this? And then Guther goes to run away, and then Seth is like, no, no, no, no, no. Come back, come back, come back. So, and then Guther just does, and then they have a pro bow. It was kind of weird. You know, usually the beat-up happens after the probo, and they just get in each other's face, and Guther was just basically, you know, I'm the best, and you say you're the best, but then you just we're playing games with Paul Heyman. No, that that offended me. That offended me. And now we're gonna fight. So this is just, I think, just you know, who's who's top dog? Who's top dog of of WWE? And they they only had two weeks for whatever reason, they only had two weeks. So it's uh they they gave us something. They gave us something. I'll I'm gonna give them a for effort here, but it's yeah, it's definitely the storyline is not like that great, but it's like this one was a victim of circumstance, so whatever, whatever. Uh, it'll be a good match. It'll be a good match. I think that's it. I think that's it. The uh CM Punk stuff. Oh, Lyra beat Charlotte after Bailey did something, but very inconsequential. It it didn't even feel like a big deal that Charlotte lost, to tell you the truth. And yeah, so that is your go-home show. I'm jealous of you. I'm jealous of you. That's the moral of the story. I'm jealous, and so like at this point, they're not hating, they're not hating each other, they're hating themselves. Oh boy, can't wait to see that. So tell me, boys, girls, what do you think? You know, as a raw, it was probably like a fine raw in the middle of June, but not a go home raw. So I'm basing it on go home bra. I'm just gonna give it a one, two, three, four, five. I'm gonna give it a five, and oba femi, obafemi's interview is what like made it a five. That was good stuff right there. And uh I I did like the Gutzer stuff and Liv Morgan stuff, kind of sort of. But yeah, like, but they do too many of these, just too many brawls and whatnot. But yeah. And the the opening promo was good too. But Oba, not a prediction, it's a spoiler. That sucks.
