These are my favorite promos of 2025. While it might have been a lackluster year, there were some gems, and I sifted through my memory, and these are the ones that I came up with. A lot of good stuff. Here's a couple examples, but even more so in the video.
You had John Cena dropping a pipe bomb that felt way too honest, like he wasn’t supposed to say half of it but did anyway. The kind of promo where you just sit there and go “oh… wow.”
You had Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair going completely off the rails, egos colliding, shots flying, and it stopped feeling like a segment and started feeling personal real quick.
Then CM Punk looks straight ahead and calls Dwayne Johnson a bald fraud. No wink. No joke. Just chaos. Internet instantly combusts.
We also got the one and only time Roman Reigns truly cut loose. No Tribal Chief cadence. No pauses. Just Roman talking like Roman, and honestly, it hit harder because it was rare.
And then there’s Drew McIntyre, absolutely dismantling Cody Rhodes, dragging his story, his legacy, and even invoking Dusty Rhodes in a way that made people uncomfortable. That wasn’t a promo, that was a verbal execution.
