Get ready, Chop Nation—this is my fantasy booking for WWE’s Saturday Night Main Event (Nov 1). For every match, I’m pitching one bold way to IMPROVE it and one surefire way to RUIN it. Let’s book it right.
Undisputed WWE Championship — Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
Improve: Let them cook for 20+ minutes with clean stakes; Cody survives a Claymore by grabbing the bottom rope, then wins after countering a second Claymore into Cross Rhodes. Post-match stare-down sets the next challenger.
Ruin: Overbooked ref bumps, run-ins, dusty finish—no decisive outcome and the champ looks weak.
World Heavyweight Championship — CM Punk vs. Jey Uso
Improve: Story-first pacing; Punk wrestles methodical, Jey fires up with superkicks, dramatic kickout after GTS, finish comes from Punk out-thinking Jey (ring IQ) rather than a fluke. Respect tease without a turn.
Ruin: Cheap distraction from outside Bloodline drama leading to a roll-up—flat, forgettable, heat on the finish instead of the wrestlers.
WWE Women’s Championship — Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill
Improve: Position it as a true power vs. polish clash; Jade dominates early, Tiffy targets a limb to level the field, finishing sequence is crisp and decisive (no botches, no count-outs).
Ruin: Five-minute sprint with a banana-peel finish—no time to sell, no character beats, no champion aura.
Intercontinental Championship — Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Rusev vs. Penta (Triple Threat)
Improve: Lean into styles clash: Dom’s opportunism, Rusev’s smash, Penta’s flash. Creative two-man spot into a third-man steal, but with a clean final pin so the title feels prestigious.
Ruin: Constant interference and comedy bumps; champion retains by nonsense with no memorable sequence.
